So who’s David Nikithser?
I’m a few weeks older than Nixon’s resignation.
I spent the first twentysomething years of my life in Clifton, NJ and am a 1992 graduate of Clifton High School. I took a tour of local colleges until realizing I should probably just go to work instead, as I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.
I met my wife, Dawn, when I was 13 years old, and knew I’d marry her the moment I laid eyes on her. We started dating not quite 10 years after that day.
I found myself working in technology, which I’m still doing now about 12 years later. We moved to the Trenton/Princeton area right before Y2K became a buzzword and bought our first house in January 2008.
I have a half-serious aspiration to become a professional poker player.
In December 2008, I finished the college career I pseudo-started 16 years earlier with a degree in Business Administration from Rider University.
I play guitar and I sing. I love to cook and try cooking new things. Dawn and I visit England about twice a year if we can help it. The other half of the half-serious aspiration is to live and work there someday.
I am a published cruciverbalist (someone who creates crossword puzzles), and I throw one up here every once in a while. I’ll create one for you, if you ask nicely.
You might have seen me on “Jeopardy!” in 2006 – I was a two-day champion.
This isn’t a political blog, or an attempt to get famous by slagging famous people, or a place where I post carefully-crafted one-liners. If any of that happens, it’s 100% an accident.
Happy reading!
