Sunday NY Times Puzzle 6/14

29 minutes.  I normally like letter addition/subtraction/substitution puzzles, but when you add that along with homonyms, it just makes the whole thing a little too precious for me.

I’ve stopped doing the early-to-mid week puzzles for some reason – I don’t start until Thursday most weeks, because the easy ones become exercises in how fast I can fill the grid – and when you do them on a computer, that can get frustrating at times.  And I still need to get back behind the wheel and write a few new ones again – my last published work was in May, and I don’t have too much pending.
